Sixt Bosnia Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2010 and 31-Dec-2012

General Rental Information
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving licence.
Please show a valid ID card or passport at time of pick up!
Special rental information by booking of Prepaid rates
Changing booking
A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) in return for an alteration charge of EUR 20.00. Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser rental cost.

Cancellation
A booking can be cancelled before the rental begins. In the event of cancellation, the payment in advance already made towards the rental shall be paid back subject to a cancellation charge, which will be withheld and shall be in the amount of the rental charge ( including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. Cancellations can be made online or in writing and must be addressedto: Sixt Bosnia and Herzegovina Headquarters, Fra Andela Zvizdovica 1, UNITIC, Sarajevo 71000, Bosnia and Herzegovina,

No-show
In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.

Age Restrictions
The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 2 years.
Minimum age in Bosnia & Herzegovina is 21 and the driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence.
In Bosnia & Herzegovina, the following rules apply for the minimum age and possession of a driver''s licence:
25 years/2 years for vehicles in groups PDAR, XFAR and FFMR.

Conditions of Payment
Flexi Tariff
We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies - such as Diners Club, American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.
We charge in advance.
We block deposit on a credit card until car is returned.
We do not accept any prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron).
Sixt CarExpress Servicecard is only accepted in combination with a valid Credit Card.
To hire from vehicle groups PDAR, XFAR and FFMR, customers need two credit cards.
Prepaid Tariff
The following credit cards are accepted: Eurocard/Mastercard, AmericanExpress Card, VISA Card, Diners Card. We do not accept any prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron).
The renter must be the owner of the indicated creditcard. Theauthorised driver details and method of payment will be confirmed at reservation stage and cannot be amended. The confirmed credit card should be valid and available for presentation on collection ofthe vehicle. All extra costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this credit card.
By booking of a prepaid rate, the credit card will be charged before the startof rental, directly with the estimated total amount of rental. The amount that will be charged on your credit card comprises the price of rental as well as all additional extra fees.
The rental charge (plus any other charges agreed such as, e.g. exemptions from liability, delivery charges, airport charges etc.) plus value added tax in the statutory amount applicable from time to time must, as a matter of principle, be paid in full for the agreed rental period, i.e. if the vehicle is collected late or returned early there shall be no refund.

Generally
An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security, the amount is the excess amount. Different amounts are possible. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

General Insurance Conditions
Third Party Insurance (TI)
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of EUR 260,000.- for personal injuries and EUR 170,000.- for material damages.
Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
All rates are inclusive of CDW.
The amount listed below is blocked on the renters' credit card until the vehicle is returned.
Customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 350.- (ECMR, EDMR)
EUR 600.- (CLMR, IDMR)
EUR 800.- (IWMR, FVMR, SDMR, SDAR, SWMR)
EUR 1200.- (FFMR, PDAR)
EUR 1500.- (XFAR).

Top Cover CDW
The renter can choose Top Cover CDW to eliminate the Non-Waiverable Responsibility to certain amount.
For the car groups ECMR, EDMR, NW Responsibility can be reduced only to 50 EUR.
For the car groups CLMR, IDMR NW Responsibility can be reduced only to 100 EUR.
For the car groups IWMR, SDAR, SWMR, FVMR, NW Responsibility can be reduced only to 150 EUR.
For the car groups PDAR, FFMR and XFAR, NW Responsibility can be reduced only to 250 EUR. The cost of Top Cover CDW is as follows: see table

Super Top Cover CDW
If Top Cover CDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Super Top Cover CDW to eliminate the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.
If Top Cover CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: 0,- EUR

Theft Protection (TP)
All rates are inclusive of TP.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
By taking out personal accident insurance coverage can also be extended to cover the consequences of an accident.
The cost of PAI is as follows: 4.00 EUR/day for all car groups
By taking out PAI the limit of liability is:
EUR 4,500.- for invalidity,
EUR 2,500.- for decease,
EUR 3,800.- for medical costs.

Delivery & Collection
During Opening Hours
Delivery/Collection Service within city limits is EUR 10.-.
Outside city limits EUR 0.55 per km will be charged.

Within city limits a Delivery/Collection Service charge of EUR 20,- applies. Outside city limits EUR 15.- plus EUR 0.55 per km will be charged.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great-Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia (until group IDMR), Malta, Monaco, Montenegro (until group IDMR), Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sebia (until group IDMR), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.

Premium Location Fee
A Premium location fee of 7% on the non-reduced basis rental rate (T&M) occurs for rentals at airport and train stations.

Accessories are bookable without obligation and subject to availability.
During the period of 15th November until 15th April winter tires are mandatory in Bosnia and Herzegovina and will be charged.

Refuelling Charge
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to Sixt, otherwise a charge of EUR 1.43 per litre of petrol or EUR 1.32 per litre of diesel in addition to a tanking fee of EUR 7.92 will apply. (Fuel = FC)

Administation Fee For Fine
If the renter has a traffic/parking fine during the rental the renter will be charged an Administration Fee of EUR 15.- together with the first settlement-proposition.

Vehicle Cleaning
In case the car require a special cleaning procedure (i.e. animal hair, sand etc) after returning, a charge of Euro 58,50 will apply.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
